An escape game is a real-life experience where participants are locked in a room and must use elements of the room, the group’s collective knowledge, and wits to discover clues, solve puzzles, and escape and/or find the missing item within a set amount of time.
Yes and no! You'll be taken into the escape room and there will be a door that you will need to unlock in order to complete the experience. There is always another door that you can use at any point to leave the room, so no worries if you're a bit claustrophobic!
You have one hour to complete the escape room. You'll also need to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time to check-in and hear how the game is played.
Whilst we don't have a specific age limit on our rooms, we do recommend the games to ages 13+. This is due to the complexity of the experiences. Under 13's must be accompanied by an adult in the room or waiting on site with them.
We currently have six different games on offer across two locations. They're all completely different experiences so you can come and play again and again!
Two of our Dunstable location rooms, The Great Train Robbery, and Strange Things are on the ground floor. They are totally accessible to those with physical disabilities and those in wheelchairs. Our rooms are also deaf-friendly. In our Luton location, currently both of our games The Duke and Prison Panic, are on the ground floor and are disabled friendly.
Dunstable: You'll find us located in the Quadrant Shopping Centre next door to Poundland and opposite Greggs. If you park in the Quadrant Car Park you will enter the centre and then turn left at The Works. We'll be right there on the left! We're located 5 mins from M1 Junction 11 and about 10 mins from Leagrave Train Station. Luton: We are located across from the town hall on Geroge St.
For the Dunstable location, we are located in the Quadrant Shopping Centre. There is a car park to the rear of our building, or it's also right near a bus stop. NCP parking app download recommended before arrival - the current rate is 0.45p for 1 hour. Rates subject to change. Locked not liable for any parking fines, customers must check signs for current tariffs. Our Luton location, town centre parking where available, or is close to the bus stops.
We welcome all events such as Hen or Stag Dos! Our games are the perfect mixture of adrenaline-inducing fun plus group bonding! It's in our opinion, a great night out for parties of all shapes and sizes. We currently do not allow open alcohol containers for customers onsite and reserve the right to refuse anyone on the door if they are too intoxicated to play/observe the rules.
Yes! We have had the NHS, EasyJet, and many more come and play our rooms for incredible corporate bonding experiences. Please check out our corporate page above for more info on how to book, current rates, and other details.
